Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma

Despite writing what most people would consider the opposite of horror, my preferred genre of book and film is indeed horror complete with slashers and blood and screaming.

I feel like anything I say about the sublime Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma won't come close to doing it justice. Despite the title and the cover image, it's much closer to a romance (of self, of another) than it is to horror. I can't remember ever seeing a film that so perfectly interwove queer self discovery, a 90s soundtrack, and perfect color grading.
